How it works

Say good bye to the over priced, flimsy, and complicated dock systems that have dominated the dock market for generations. Our goal when designing our docks was to make the most solid aluminum dock, that was the most simple to install, at the most affordable rate possible.

Step 1: Measure your property and waterfront to determine the size and layout of the dock you require. Make a basic drawing of the layout you are looking for and label any accessory locations you want such as: cleats, board racks, stairs, under dock water/ electrical tubing, etc.

Step 2: We offer two different styles of pole dock that cost the same price. The firsts style is what we call traditional strait leg, which is your traditional adjustable height pole dock where the legs come through the top of the wood decking and allow you to adjust it throughout the year if you live on a river or near a hydro dam where the water height can quickly.

The Second style is our favourite with its architectural style and angled legs. With this style once you install your frames and set your dock height you go through and cut off the access leg with an angle grinder so that the wooden top goes over it and you don’t have any acces leg coming

through the frame which provides a much cleaner look. In addition the legs on this style is angled so the dock is MUCH more stable with virtually 0 side to side movement or “dock wobble” which is ideal for those with mobility or stability issues. This style still provides 10” of height adjustability incase of the need to adjust the height in future. Most dock companies will try to sell you on height adjustable pole docks however the reality is that most people that live on lakes set their pole dock height during the initial install and never touch it again.

Step 3: Select the dock frame sizes in our products section required to configure your layout, choose frame only or with cedar add-on, select traditional strait leg or architectural series, as well as any accessories required.

Step 4: Select pickup or delivery at checkout. Put in the delivery address you would like your dock delivered to and our shipping calculator will calculate the rate for us to deliver your dock to you. For every $2,500 spent pre tax earns you 25km in free delivery, distance is calculated

based on actual travel distance in km from our location to yours, not radius distance.

Side Note: Are you far away from us in an area like North Bay, the Muskokas, GTA, or central/northern Quebec, but still want to capitalize on free shipping? Get a neighbour, or two, or three who need a dock as well. Add everything to one basket, then upload the drawing for each dock

at checkout. Use one delivery address (the furthest one from Rideau Ferry) and we will get the docks up to you on the same delivery so we make one trip and you capitalize on free shipping.

Step 5: Upload your drawing and leave us any comments you think might be important and check out. If you are looking to have us install, leave a comment in the comments section at checkout and we will send you a separate quote for install or if your too far away we will

recommend an installer in your area.

Step 6: We will weld heavy duty quick connect brackets onto the frames to match your layout, to allow for ultra easy install/ removal every season. We will also assemble your order and weld your legs on it the configuration required. Then contact you to arrange pickup or delivery.
